A Memorandum of Understanding describes an agreement between the parties on a planned working arrangement. Four of these agreements (below) have been signed by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and other regulatory bodies to protect the interests of members of the MPF system. Students who enter Hong Kong on a student visa and have met the following requirements: Under the MPF system, self-employed workers are those who derive income from the production or trade of goods or services in a capacity other than that of an employee (i.e. those who work for themselves).
